Grace Unlimited

Our team of 10 have been so blessed during our last 3 days, seeing and experiencing the works of God through Family for Mission

Comments from the team :

1) I am surprised by the Cambodians by their friendliness and smiles and I am awed by how they embraced God in their simple ways, opening my eyes and heart as a pre-believer.

2) Saying that they are poor is an understatement. The kind of life that the Cambodians live is simply unimaginable and you can only show your heart in your very simplest actions. Coming from a youth perspective, I'm ashamed to say that my faith for God cannot match up to their faith for God. It just makes me want to strive harder for God and show my feelings through actions rather than just talking about it.

3) The way of life in Cambodia makes the team, especially the younger ones, realised how fortunate they are to be born and brought up in Singapore. After this trip, I am sure the younger ones are more appreciative of what they have in Singapore and they will be more compassionate and willing to help the unfortunate.
I hope we are able to touch the lives of the Cambodians here through the works which God has guided us over the last 3 days and we hope to be back in Cambodia to do more of His works.

We are truly blessed as we see the works of Family for Mission. By meeting the mere survival needs of the villagers such as water & food, they are able to share God's blessings to the poor. We pray that God will enlarge His territory here and that Ps Sarun & his team will be blessed with His blessings as they continue to do His will and purpose in this mission.

We will definitely be back to partner Family for Mission to do God's wills and purposes for this land.

Matthew 5:3-12

3
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

“Children of Light Ministry” - Raising up a New Generation to Transform Cambodia

Whereas the Bible boldly states that children are the gift of God and that God desires all children to come to Him; and
Although the Bible also decrees that children should grow up in an atmosphere of family love, wise counsel, tender discipline and unconditional care, the reality of our day is that this has often not become the case as children have been tragically neglected and therefore marginalized; and, although the church has a responsibility to equip, train and encourage the family to play its proper role in the rearing of children, this too, , has often not become the reality of our day,
Whereas the glaring weakness in the handling and caring for children as a global community has contributed to millions of children becoming hopeless victims of our neglect;
Be it resolved that we, have come together to ask God to forgive us for failing to do what we could and what we ought for children as His gifts from above; and for failing to provide them with His holistic blessings and a strategy and hope for the transformation to the world;
Be it also resolved that we commit ourselves and the institutions that God has entrusted to us to improve and increase our efforts for the equipping, care and mobilization of the children and their families at villages (for a while at Preah Village, Bang Ket Village, and Stung Trong Village-Kampong Cham Province) in Cambodia for the holistic transformation of the world, all for His glory.
